Once settled, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Mbudya Island is one of the top snorkeling spots in Dar es Salaam, renowned for its clear waters and vibrant marine life. While swimming or snorkeling, you may encounter colorful tropical fish, coral reefs, starfish, sea urchins, crabs, and other small reef creatures. During certain seasons, dolphins can occasionally be spotted offshore, while coastal birds such as seagulls and kingfishers add to the island’s charm. For those who prefer relaxation, you can unwind on the soft white sandy beaches, sunbathe by the shore, or relax in your reserved banda with comfortable seating while soaking in the peaceful island atmosphere.

An optional fresh seafood lunch is available on the island, typically featuring grilled fish, prawns, calamari, rice, fries, and salad, and is ordered and paid for directly on-site. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food and drinks if preferred. In the afternoon, you will take a boat ride back to White Sands Hotel, where your private driver will be waiting to transfer you comfortably back to your home or hotel near the National Museum, concluding a relaxing and memorable island escape.
